BT Rip Clip Loader: Tournament Loading for the Woods
The BT Rip Clip loader is designed to be used with the BT-4 line of paintball markers. This loading system pre-chambers paintballs inside a sprocket-like device. It is similar in many ways to the Tippmann Cyclone Feed System, but there are some major differences between the two. The Rip-Clip Loader uses Halo Sound Activation Technology for warp speed loading. This technology is the same as in many of today's 'tournament level' paintball loading systems. The sound from the previous shot causes the Rip Clip to advance another ball into the receiver. Since the balls are prechambered, loading is fast and flawless. You can program the loader to 3 different speeds. The third setting is the fastest, topping off at well over 20 bps (balls per second). This is a must for guns using the BT-4 Electronic Trigger which can achieve very high rates of fire. Battery life is very good. A fresh battery will last approximately 8000 shots. The automatic 1 hour non-activity shut-off feature saves your battery when you forget to shut the loader off between games or during storage. The BT Rip-Clip can be used on any of new or previous BT-4 paintball guns. It's the perfect addition to the very popular MP5-style BT Delta paintball gun. BT Paintball decided to make the Rip Clip standard equipment on their BT Delta Elite Marker. Thanks to sensible design and manufacturing, the BT Rip Clip will accept any cyclone feed loader!
Rip Clip Hopper Options
We get a lot of questions regarding the BT Rip-Clip. The most common is "will the Rip Clip accept Tippmann A5 Loaders". The answer is YES! This system will accept any hopper designed to be used with the Tippmann Cyclone Feed System. This allows Rip-Clip owners to change their ball carrying capacity by easily changing out hoppers. Allen Paintball Products' Cyclone Feed Offset Hoppers can hold between 180 - 400 balls. Not only do they offer the flexibilty of more storage but also incorporate an offset that allows for better centerline vision and space for accessories like top mounted scopes. Military/Swat enthusiasts love the Proteam Tac Cap Loader. This loader is capable of holding 50 paintballs for events in which rounds are limited and weight is a key factor in tactical manuevering. The Tac Cap can also be trimmed down to 40 or 30 rounds depending on your personal preference. Also available are the low profile cyclone hoppers. These loaders have a similar carrying capacity as stock but with a reduced profile to create a more 'stealth-like' appearance. A smaller profile means your Rip Clip Hopper is harder to hit and will take few shots in the field. Many options are now available to BT Rip Clip owners, allowing you to choose a hopper with the right shape and carrying capacity to fit your playing style.
