The biggest complaint, (Heck, the ONLY complaint) I have ever heard about the SP-1 is the center feed neck. "Woodsballers" seem to hate holding the marker "Speedball" style, holding it at an angle. GOG's new body kit is a godsend for this problem. Now the 45 degree feedneck does not stay completely out of your view, but you are gonna be so glad that you can take off that silly dropover sight mount and truly aim the gun down the center!! The materials used are of high quality, and once your firing chamber is in place, there is no way for the feedneck to slide back out. I put the heavy loader onto it that I have, (Pinokio/400) and the balance isnt affected all that much.
The only thing I am leery about is the feedneck adaptor, I would suggest an aluminum one to replace the plastic the kit comes with
Nothing in this world is perfect, but this is a VAST improvement over the Smart Parts design, and would suggest it to anyone looking to improve their marker.
