The MP SMG Long Shroud is an all-aluminum, 2 piece design that includes the front silencer shroud and rear ribbed grip with integrated barrel adapter. The front piece is threaded to the rear section. The integrated barrel adapter in this shroud allows your barrel to be truly free floating. A 'free float' barrel means it does not touch the shroud at all. The barrel simply threads into the rear adapter just the same as the factory barrel adapter. This shroud installs exactly like the factory barrel adapter. The kit is anodized in a matte black to match the A5's receiver.

The factory A5 barrel can be used with this shroud kit. It will sit roughly 1.5" from the front edge of the shroud. A 10" barrel (no greater than 1" outer diameter) would be about even with the front edge of the shroud. For barrels shorter than 10", we recommend separating the front and back of the MP Long Shroud first, thread in your barrel then screw the two halves back together again.

An A5 Threaded Barrel Is not included. Due to the integrated adapter, this shroud kit is only compatible with markers that use the A5 style 'Adapter'. This includes all A5, X7 (non-Phenoms) and BT-4 paintball guns.
