Paintball Slings Offer Less Fatigue on the Field.

Tippmann A5 Paintball Sling

Anyone who spends a day in the woods with a fully-accessorized paintball gun understands that a marker can be quite heavy especially as the day goes on. Players who know rely on a paintball sling for more than just a means of carrying a marker. A paintball sling helps support the weight of a gun during play which reduces fatigue. This allows the gun to be held much longer, ready to be fired in what would otherwise be an uncomfortable position.

Paintball slings come in many different configurations. They are usually defined by the number of contacts points they make with the weapon and the user. Typically most paintball gun slings will attach to a metal sling loop or wrap around a part of the gun using a velco strap. A 2 pt paintball sling is the traditional sling that most people recognize. It makes contact with the front and back of the gun. The belt simply goes over your shoulder in a number of different positions. A 3 point sling offers more adjustment than a 2 pt sling. With a 3 pt, the sling attaches to the front and back of the paintball gun. It then intersects a loop that is worn around the user. This offers players many more options for adjustment and carrying configurations. It can be cinched tight to the user while still allowing distance to the marker. The final type is a 1 point sling in which the loop is worn around the user and the sling attaches to the gun at one point, usually in the rear of the marker. 1 pt paintball slings are great for small paintball guns that may only have one sling loop for attachment. The 1 pt sling is an RTS favorite for Tippmann A5 paintball guns not equipped with a rear buttstock. This sling offers the perfect support for the A5, attaching at the back ring. It keeps the A5 close yet stays out of the way during use. The attachment piece has a clip which can release the paintball sling instantly from the marker. This makes it very convenient between games. You do not have to take the sling off and on, constantly readjusting. The 1 pt sling is one of our top selling Tippmann A5 Parts.

At RTS, we know the paintball market quite well. We don't offer everything and anything in paintball today. We only carry the best quality paintball products geared towards the woodsball/scenario player. As new paintball guns and products are released, expect our sling category to grow offering more options and configurations for paintball gun owners.
