ROCKSTAR Tactical Systems: New Website Launch

After A LOT of work, our new website is finally live!  We've upgraded a good bit with the launch of the new site. Here are just a handful of new features you can find at the new rockstartactical.com.

1.  Shooting Sports Expansion - We're expanding our traditional paintball offering to include more tactical gear, airsoft supplies, air guns and shooting accessories.  This includes a broader scope of tactical gear for our core scenario paintball customers to choose from.  Tactical gear from Condor, Maxpedition and 5.11 Tactical (as well as plenty of other added brands) offer more options for the paintball player as well as supplying a new customer base with the most popular products in the tactical world.

2. Filtered Search - Find what you're looking for quickly by simply selecting a filter facet in the left hand column of the category page.  Filters help break down category results quickly and eliminate browsing through long lists of product results.  We'll be adding filters regularly in every category to make shopping quicker and easier.

3.  Product Page Highlights - Bigger pictures, better descriptions, video access are just a few new features on the newly designed product page.  We want to help you to get the info you need to make the right informed decision about your purchase.

4. Return Request - We built the return request functionality into the customer account panel.  Anyone with a registered account can login into their account, view previous orders and make a return request for an item within his/her account.

5. Responsive Design - Whether you're on a desktop computer, ipad or smart phone our website will automatically reconfigure offering full functionality regardless of the device you're using.

6.  Better Search -  Our previous Website Search offered basic functionality and relatively decent results.  Our new smart search feature is a powerhouse that builds on the search term inquiries and browsing of all the traffic that comes to the website.  This means our search will get better and better in time, offering easy access to whatever you're looking for along with thumbnail images for quick access to product pages.

7.  Built-in Blog - You're on it right now.  Bookmark this page for news and editorial content in the tactical world.
