The new Lapco M4 A5 Mag Kit is another item promising to take the look of your Tippmann A5 to new heights. After using one of these mag kits on our own personal A5, we can understand why the demand is so high for them. The Lapco A5 Mag Kit is made from a tough high-grade polymer that's light but very durable. Unlike other scenario paintball products that claim to be tough, this A5 Magazine will standup to the abuse of woodsball play. It's designed on a 1:1 scale ratio with the M4/M16 Magazine giving you a realistic look and feel. Our overall favorite feature is how the mag kit sits on the gun. Placement is high over the tombstone adapter tucked neatly in front of the A5 triggerguard. The hardward that's included is rather genius. The mounting pins are threaded on one side. After inserting the pins into the mag kit and through the receiver plates, you thread the screws into the opposite side of the pins. This tightens the magazine, securing it to the A-5 receiver and therefore eliminating side to side slop. Finally, tightening the front screw prevents wobble from front to back. This gives you a very secure attachment, much better than most other A5 Mag Kits that rely on the stock A5 push pins only. He's a tip to maintain a solid attachment for the mag kit. Put a drop of thread-lock on the 3 screws in the kit. Use a lightweight thread-lock that will allow you to loosen the screws later. This will reinforce the attachment, preventing any loosening of the Lapco M4 A5 Mag Kit in the field when your tools are not on your person.
