Introducing the smallest paintball gun in production today! The GOBLIN 'SOLO' Micro-Launcher uses specially designed a single shot Barrel/Air Cartridge to launch Paintballs.
The GOBLIN Air Cartridges are charged with the included Air Adaptor which can be attached to any CO2 or compressed air tank. Charging is ultra-simple and takes only a few moments! The .68 Magnum barrel holds a single, standard .68 Paintball. This unique interchangeable barrel feature makes the GOBLIN 'SOLO', the world's first dual-purpose 'game' launcher, capable of being used in both Paintball and Airsoft skirmishes depending on the barrel you use!
The GOBLIN 'SOLO' was designed to be used as an easily concealable, short range back-up marker, for both Paintball as well as Airsoft skirmishes.
Although only a single-shot, the GOBLIN 'SOLO' can make an ideal last-ditch solution, especially if you're in the middle of reloading your primary marker, or you run out of ammo!
Intended primarily as a short-range, back-up gun, the GOBLIN 'SOLO' produces its optimum velocity within 15-20 feet of the muzzle. At this distance, using CO2, a launched Paintball will easily splatter against its intended target, with a typical velocity of 200-250 feet per second (FPS).
Higher velocities in the 280-300 FPS range have been recorded, using compressed air, although this can cause faster wear of the O-Rings. It is therefore recommended that GOBLIN Air Cartridges be filled with CO2 whenever possible, especially when lower velocities are desirable or necessary.
In order to deliver relatively consistent performance using a variety of compressed air sources, GOBLIN Air Cartridges use a series of O-Ring seals and valves to store and then release each air charge. As many of these parts are extremely small and operate at high tolerances, continual O-Ring wear requires that these seals be replaced from time to time. A spare O-Ring Kit is included with each GOBLIN 'SOLO' set, and replacement is covered in the GOBLIN 'SOLO's Owner's Manual.
