ALREADY COMMENTED BUT IT NEVER APPEARED, PERHAPS I SAID SOMETHING WRONG ... SEVERAL COMPANIES HAVE MADE TRULY EXPENSIVE HAND WEAPONS FOR 'HOME SELF DEFENSE' , ONE PISTOL TYPE UNIT IN .68 CALIBER .... THE UMEREX TR 50 IN 7 JOULE POWER IS WICKED ENOUGH BUT EXCHANGE THE INTERNAL CO2 EXHAUST PIECE FOR THIS 11 JOULE VERSION AND PREPARE TO BE DAZZLED ! MY FPS METER MEASURES ONLY TO 399 AND MY 7 JOULE VERSION BEFORE THIS CONVERSION EASILY PUT OUT MID 300'S FPS ... NOW WITH THIS CHANGEOVER MY FPS METER CANNOT READ OVER 399 AND PUTS OUT ONLY ZEROS ... A YOU TUBER WITH A MORE PROFESSIONAL FPS METER WAS MEASURING OUT AT IN THE LOW TO MID 400'S ! THIS HOWEVER FOREVER DOOMS THE PISTOL AS A CLUB RUN PAINTBALL GUN. FPS IN THOSE RANGES IN CLUBS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN,ALTHOUGH ONE COULD DRY FIRE GAS OFF UNTIL FPS WAS MUCH LOWER. BUY THIS, YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE DISAPPOINTED !

SERIOUS HOME DEFENSE
I won't mention brands and there are only a few out there that are claiming to be singularly specific for home defense and legal 'carry'. One was bragged about on Fox News and it is a $500 out the door item with the needed accessories included. It will not hold a candle to this 11 Joule upgrade powerhouse. You will not be disappointed and this is a really particular perfectionist writing this. It however must be installed and isn't difficult to do if you follow a you tube video on how to disassemble a TR50. After installing I was amazed. I had been using my 7 Joule pistol for target practice for about 2 months while waiting for this upgrade part to return from 'out of stock' status. This 11 Joule upgrade turns the FPS up and over Tippmanns FPS 399 meter .... everything over 400 shows as all zeros and two magazines will consistently be over the 375 FPS mark ... With glass hard solid defense balls the only home defense better than this upgrade are the rubber bullets for sale online that fit true and real revolvers. This part needs ordered as quickly as possible, it won't stay in stock for long !
